Wessanen UK was recently invited to the offices of William Reed Business Media (WRBM) to hold a special healthy food and nutrition day as part of the company’s 2017 Wellness Week.

WRBM is the publisher of numerous well-regarded industry titles including The Grocer and Convenience Store, and the aim of the day was to raise awareness of Wessanen UK’s brands Kallo, Whole Earth, Clipper and Mrs Crimble’s with the various teams, whilst educating staff on the importance of a healthy, natural and well-balanced diet.

Branded, colourful lecterns for Clipper Teas, Kallo, Mrs Crimble’s and Whole Earth were positioned throughout the canteen area, with brand representatives on hand to talk about the products and upcoming initiatives.

Clipper also took over the hot drinks stations throughout WRBM’s building to encourage people to switch their routine coffee fix for a healthier cup of natural and delicious green tea, while a flavourful lunch consisting of tomato and basil soup served with gluten free bread or mexican chicken with shaved raw winter vegetable slaw, was served up to hundreds of team members.

Nutritionist and Clipper brand ambassador Libby Limon gave two informative talks about the nutritional and hydrating benefits of drinking green tea, and provided some top tips on making the perfect cup.

While all this was happening, Gill Green, Marketing Director and Alan Bird, Commercial Director, were briefing the editorial teams at The Grocer, Convenience Store, British Baker and Food Manufacture about plans for the brands, market positioning and new product development.
